Two children - daughter, Meghan who has two daughters, Rayna and Cadence and son, Peter who has one son, Oliver

What do you do for a living?
Brown is the co-founder of a social service foundation in Ecuador called Mountains of Hope. Her main role is Director of Education.
Tell us about Mountains of Hope and its mission.
"Mountains of Hope has been in existence for over six years, providing programs in educational enrichment through creative arts, organic agriculture, health and nutrition, global exchange, and various other projects promoting community development."
Why are you so passionate about this organization?
"I am able to apply my creative abilities to implement programs that have a direct impact on the children of the Andes. By exposure through the arts, the students are able to experience an authentic hands-on education and discover a love of learning."
Are you active with any other organizations or community service groups?
"I am currently an advocate of promoting the creation of "Circle of Seasons," a Waldorf Charter school here in the Lehigh Valley."
In your travels, what is one of your most favorite memories?
"Living and working with indigenous children in the Andes who speak Kichua, the native Inca language. It has been proven to me that language is not a barrier when communicating on a heart level. I continue to be amazed at their resourcefulness and innate intelligence."

Machu Picchu, Peru
In your spare time, what to you enjoy doing?
Kayaking, gardening, hiking, dabbling in various art forms

Brown is a puppeteer and a writer of children's stories.
