Obituary: Jean B. Acker, 70

Jean B. Acker, 70, of Emmaus, died Aug. 5, 2012 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital Inpatient Hospice Unit. She was the wife of David E. Acker. They celebrated their 50^th wedding anniversary on June 9, 2012. Born in Macungie, she was the daughter of the late T. A. Richard and May L. (Reinhard) Glass. She worked as an accounts payable clerk, secretary for a CPA Firm, secretary for Emmaus Ford, and worked in accounts payable for Penn Phone last working in 2011. 

Survivors: Husband; Step Brother, Mark W. Reynolds and wife Linda of Macungie and Half Brother, David R. Glass of Fleetwood; Half Sister, Joan Carol Glass wife of Christian Kazanecki of Martins Creek; Nieces and Nephews; Beloved dog, Bentley.             

Services:  Private at the convenience of the family. , Emmaus is handling arrangements.

Contributions: In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Lehigh Valley Hospice or the Lehigh County Humane Society.
