
John M. Haring, 63, of Allentown, died August 9, 2012 in his home. He was the husband of Carol A. (Heinly) Haring. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Roy and Wilma (Sattler) Haring. He was a graduate of Central Catholic high School in Allentown. There he was active in the music department, playing trumpet. He owned and operated J. Haring Electric since 1979. He was previously a member of the Woodlawn Volunteer Fire Company. He honorably served his country in the Marines during Vietnam `67-71.
Survivors: Wife; Carol; Son, John M. Haring and wife Abby of Coraopolis; Daughter, Amanda E. wife of Joseph Lawler of Emmaus; Sister, Mary Louise wife of Dr. Hugh J. O’Donnell of Allentown; Grandchildren, Sandra L. Boore and Nicholas F. A. Boore; Canine Companion, Benny. He was predeceased by a brother Paul R. Haring and Canine Companions, Humphrey and Oliver.
Services: Funeral Services Mon. Aug. 13, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. in , 250 Main St., Emmaus. Viewing Tuesday 10 to 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment with military honors will follow in Northwood Cemetery. Online condolences may be made to www.schantzfh.com.
