Walk for Children with Apraxia Of Speech- Sept.28th in Allentown

A fun morning for the whole family while supporting children who struggle to speak. Lone Lane Park in Allentown, PA. 9:00 AM-12:00 PM

From the Walk Coordinator:
“I am a Speech-Language Pathologist who works with children with apraxia of speech. Over the past few years, my caseload of children with apraxia has grown. I have helped to coordinate the apraxia walk for the past 3 years and I want the walk to continue to be a success and grow larger each year. I love the children and families that I work with and I love seeing the accomplishments of the children. I also have friends that have children with apraxia and planning the walk is a way to give back and shine a spotlight on all of the hard work that the children and the families do to achieve success. Together we can spread awareness and support these wonderful children and families”.

Come out to support children with apraxia of speech and their families and enjoy a morning of fun at 30 Lone Lane Park on Sept. 28, 2014 at 10 AM (9 AM Check-in). The Walk is being held to benefit the Childhood Apraxia of Speech Association of North America (CASANA). All proceeds will benefit apraxia research and programs. Kid friendly activities include a short group walk, sand art, foam sticker activities, bean bag toss, bubbles, cupcake decorating, raffles and more.
