The Reverend Karen Battle will be present at a special Taize Prayer for Healing this Friday night, October 5. Rev. Battle served the Pittsburgh Presbytery as a member of the Staff and is currently a mission developer in the Hazelwood community. She is also well-known for her ability to hear the concerns of people and put those concerns into powerful words of prayer.
All who have need for healing, whether that be physical, emotional, relational, or spiritual are invited to attend. The Taize Prayer is at Hope Lutheran Church of Forest Hills, 353 Ridge Ave (corner of Braddock Rd and Ridge), beginning at 7:00 PM.
Taize began in the 1940s in France as an ecumenical, musical time of Prayer.
