If you said YES to the above, then your child and two friends may be eligible to participate in a research study conducted by researchers at the University of Pittsburgh.

For this study, your child will spend two nights and two days with two friends in the sleep lab at the University of Pittsburgh for a long sleep week and two nights and two days for a short sleep week (when they sleep for only 4 hours both nights). While in the lab they will be asked to complete an interview, several questionnaires, computer tasks and fMRI scans to look at brain activity. This study does not involve any treatments or medications. Compensation will be provided for participation in the study.
