Auditions for Turn of the Screw

PRIME STAGE announces Open Casting auditions for THE TURN OF
THE SCREW, adapted by Jeffrey Hatcher, from the story by Henry James.  



Auditions on Saturday
Sept 7 and Sunday Sept 8 from 1-5 at The Oakland School, 362 McKee Place
Pittsburgh, PA 15213.  Rehearsals begin
late September and the show runs November 1 to November 10 at The Hazlett
Theater.



Director,
Joe Warik, is casting two non-Equity actors and SAG-AFTRA members to play
the following roles with British dialects:

THE MAN:  30's to early 50's. A versatile actor will play the narrator,
Uncle, Mrs. Grose, and the boy, Miles. 



THE WOMAN:  20's to early 30's. 
An attractive, actress will play the leading role of
the Governess.

Prepare a
two-minute dramatic monologue using a British dialect.  Bring photo
and resume.  Scripts are available online at
