Belmonte, Kuhn Come Out on Top for WH School Board

Mike Belmonte and Fred Kuhn earned both party's nominations for two seats each. See who else is in the running.

Two candidates for Woodland Hills School Board each have won both parties' nomination for two seats.

During Tuesday's primary election, Mike Belmonte won the Republican and Democratic nominations for a four-year at-large term and a four-year term in Region 3. He beat out several candidates, including incumbents Colleen Filiak and Jeff Hanchett.

Incumbent Fred Kuhn also won the Democratic and Republican nominations for an two-year at-large term and a two-year term in Region 2.

Kuhn also will appear on the ballot as a Republican for a chance at a four-year Region 2 term. He will be facing Jon Coulter, who won the Democratic nomination.
