Dogs in Frick Park

Where oh where is that doggy leash?

There is a law/rule that dogs in Frick Park must be on a leash or face a fine. As often is the rule/laws no one enforces them so the said offenders believe it is either irrelevant or that they have no worries about being scofflaws.  I want all dogs on leashes for my peace of mind and potential safety.  My experience of having dogs rush up to me, often wet and muddy, and their owners shouting out "don't worry he/she is friendly" has become almost beyond insulting. A friend of mine's dog just attacked another dog and ripped it's neck off. I was bit by a dog as a child and of course that was a "friendly" dog also..

If you bring your "friendly" dog to the park extend that friendship to me and OBEY the law and put him/her on a leash.. You would not like to be either fined or worse lose the dog if he/she big someone..

I am aware of the backlash to this sentiment but the law is on my side.. Whose side are you on??
