As promised, I am now able to share a couple of really cool interviews I did recently for Yahoo! Movies.

First, I got to speak with the Supervising Sound Editor and his 1st Assistant, from Rise of the Planet of the Apes. Those guys went through such an intense and unusual process for that film, I hope they get a nomination if not an Oscar for their work. I was fascinated to hear about it and I hope you will be, too.

Then, I had occasion to ask a few questions of one of the four Screenwriters on the new Conan the Barbarian film. While he admitted the film is a "blood and boobs" movie, he did articulate some differences between the 1982 version and the 2011 one.

The Dark Knight Rises wraps today, and while , I'm not in that camp. This was huge for our city and I can't wait to see how it influences other productions to come here!
