Burglary and Assists Keep Edgewood Police Busy

Here are the Edgewood police reports for July 19 to 25:
July 20
- Police responded to the Edgewood Towne Centre after reports of a drunk man yelling obscenities at customers. He was taken into custody.
- Police assisted Wilkinsburg officers with a shooting on Ella Street.
- Three juveniles were spotted using BB guns at the Ivy Street parking lot.
- A truck got stuck in the Race Street tunnel and had to be towed.Â
- Police found an intoxicated woman stumbling on the roadway on the 1600 block of South Braddock Avenue.
- A burglary was reported at Mirror Image salon on South Braddock Avenue. The front door was shattered and $310 was stolen.
- Police assisted Swissvale police with a stabbing at a Noble Street parking lot.
- Police also assisted Swissvale police with an attempted burglary near the Edgewood Tennis and Fitness Club. Police found a man hiding  behind a retaining wall with a crow bar and gloves. A woman also was located in a vehicle under a tree.
- A motorist crashed into a call on Boyd Street. No one was injured.
