
The following incidents were reported to Edgewood Police from June 27 to July 11:
June 28
- A vehicle on Lincoln Avenue was rummaged through.
- Hit and run accidents were reported at the Edgewood Towne Centre parking lot and on Garland Street.
- Police responded to a two-vehicle accident on East Swissvale Avenue. Minor injuries were reported.
- An East End Avenue resident reported their vehicle registration to be lost or stolen.
- A jitney driver reported receiving a counterfeit $100 bill in the borough.
- A pack of cigarettes was stolen from a vehicle on West Hutchinson Avenue.
- A burglary was reported at the Edgewood Express. According to police, someone tried to break into the store through a vent panel. Nothing was stolen.
- A 9-year-old is accused of trying to steal a pellet gun from Kmart.
- Police responded to the CC Mellor Library after juveniles were causing a disturbance.
