Beulah Presbyterian Church, 2500 McCrady Road, Churchill, continues its celebration of Advent with worship services highlighted with special musical presentations this coming Sunday, Dec. 9. The sermon by the Rev. Dr. Cynthia Reyes Fillmore, “Prepare the Way,” is based on scripture in Malachi 3:1-4 and Luke 3:1-6. Music will be offered by the Sanctuary Choir, and a duet and organ music by Gerald Near.

Sunday, Dec. 23, sermon by the Rev. Dr. Doug Marshall: “Bethlehem - Big Deal!” Micah 5:2-5, Luke 2:1-7. Music features a carol sing, Sanctuary Choir in John Rutter’s “O Come, O Come Emmanuel.”
Sunday worship times are: 10:15 a.m. traditional worship in the sanctuary; 5:45 p.m. Revolution, contemporary worship in the fellowship hall.

Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, features Pastor Cynthia's sermon "Christmas Grace," based on Luke 2:1-4, Titus 2:11-14. There will be two services:
Contemporary Candlelight Family Worship, with 4:15 p.m. gathering music by Revolution team; 4:30 p.m. worship led by the praise band and children; reception afterward.
Later there will be the Traditional Candlelight Worship, with 7 p.m. musical prelude (including a variety of music featuring piano, organ, trombone and bells) followed by 7:30 p.m. worship with music by composers J.S. Bach, Camille Saint-Saëns, Peter Tranchell, Carl Piutti and Craig Phillips. Again, there will be a reception afterward.
