Free Community Dinner--Social Services Fair

The event will begin with a free meal at 4:30 p.m. Reservations are requested.

During the dinner, organization representatives will provide brief overviews of their programs. They will be available during the dinner and after for individual discussions.

Organizations scheduled to participate include:

  • Auberle, which runs the SNAP (Stop Now and Plan) anger management program for boys 6 to 11
  • Gwen’s Girls, a program that strives to empower girls and young women to have productive lives
  • Big Brothers and Sisters of America, whose mission is to help children reach their potential through professionally supported, one-to-one relationships with mentors
  • Bradley Center, which provides behavioral healthcare and comprehensive services for children, youth and families
  • Area Agency on Aging, which deals with life issues for senior citizens, and the Allegheny County Department of Human Services, the umbrella group for the county’s social services.
