
The Organ Artists Series of Pittsburgh presents organist Robert McCormick in concert at East Liberty Presbyterian Church (ELPC). The event is presented in cooperation with the Cathedral Concerts at ELPC.
Described as “indomitable and immensely gifted” by Choir and Organ magazine, Mr. McCormick serves as director of music at St. Paul’s Parish in Washington, D.C. He holds a bachelor of music degree in organ performance, summa cum laude, from Westminster Choir College, Princeton, N.J.
Mr. McCormick will perform works by Eugène Gigout, Pierre Cochereau, and Edward Elgar on ELPC’s Goulding & Wood/Aeolian-Skinner organ, which ranks among the largest and finest organs in the country. Well known for his improvisation skills, Mr. McCormick also will improvise on themes submitted during the concert.

A reception with light refreshments and hors d'oeuvres follows the concert. Parking is available adjacent to the venue. Tickets are available at the door or in advance.
