In the last ten years, The Mavens have become one of the most popular Twang bands in Western Pennsylvania. Taking their inspiration from 40s honky-tonk and Western Swing, Bakersville Country and 70s country rock, the Mavens have created an original distinct sound and loyal audience.
After a two year hiatus, the band is returning to performing with a rootsier more acoustic sound with the same energy and craft of their original lineup.
