The mission of the Tortoise and Hair™ Pittsburgh race is to raise awareness and funds for alopecia areata, a common auto-immune disease. All proceeds from the race go directly to the National Alopecia Areata Foundation (NAAF). The race features a 5K run and a 2 mile walk. Awards will be presented to the top three males and females overall. Finisher medals will be given to children under 10. There will also be great 50/50 raffles available.
