Held in cooperation with The Compassionate Friends, this observance honors all children who have died at any age, to whatever cause, and regardless of how long ago. This is an opportunity for parents, grandparents, siblings, and others who were affected by the child's death to gather for sharing memories and supporting each other. Candles are lit in memory of each child from 7 pm to 8 pm; you may bring your own candle or we will provide one for you. You are welcome to bring a photo and other mementos to display on a Memory Table, and to bring a favorite snack food of the child's to share during the fellowship time following the candlelighting. The event will be held in the church Social Hall; ample free parking is available in the church parking lot.
