Farmers Market Hit by Sudden Storm
Visitors to opening day at the Forest Hills Farmers Market got a little rain with their bread, meat, sauce and veggies.
My son and I had been looking forward to visiting the Farmers Market since our last trip in the fall.
So, of course, , it was added to our nearly full calendar of "things to do."
There was a slight drizzle about a half hour into opening day on Friday afternoon but we decided to take a chance and left the umbrellas behind. We realized our mistake as we paid for our asparagus and basil.

After failing to keep dry under an awning, my son and I dashed to the car, both drenched all over and cold. But that wasn't the worst part.
Somewhere in it all, we lost our asparagus. All that much more reason to go back again next week!
