Judge Hoots Hears Drug, Assault Cases

Wilkinsburg District Judge Kim Hoots heard three cases last week.

Wilkinsburg District Judge Kim Hoots heard the following cases last week:

  • Jaamayl Crosby, 27, of an unknown address waived a preliminary hearing on charges of intent to possess a controlled substance; and manufacture, deliver or possess a controlled substance with intent. A charge of possession of drug paraphernalia was withdrawn. The Allegheny County Sheriff's Office filed the charges after a March 7 incident on South Avenue.
  • Daquan Carter, 21, of Wilkinsburg was held for court on charges of simple assault and disorderly conduct. Wilkinsburg police filed the charges after a Dec. 22, 2012, incident on Montier Street.
