Judge Hoots Hears Robbery, Firearm and Burglary Cases
Wilkinsburg District Judge Kim Hoots heard several cases last week.

Wilkinsburg District Judge Kim Hoots heard the following cases on May 2:
- Morris Fredd Corinthian, 33, of McKeesport waived a preliminary hearing on charges of robbery, aggravated assault, conspiracy and recklessly endangering another person. Wilkinsburg police accuse him of assaulting a man on Jan. 10 on Wallace Avenue. Cheena Bruce also was charged in relation to this incident.
- Deshawn Ramelle Hinton, 21, of Wilkinsburg was held for court on charges of carrying a firearm without a license, assaulting a police officer, recklessly endangering another person and tampering with evidence. Hinton led police on a foot chase on Oct. 9, 2012. He is accused of shooting at police officers on Swissvale Avenue.

- Jordan Adam Martino, 26, of McKeesport waived a preliminary hearing on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance and careless driving. Wilkinsburg police filed the charges after a Feb. 19 incident on Ardmore Boulevard.
- Lasheena Roberts, 31, of Homewood was held for court on charges of criminal trespass, burglary, theft, simple assault, harassment and criminal mischief. Wilkinsburg police filed the charges after a Sept. 22, 2012 incident on Franklin Avenue.
