Local Author Will Feature New Horror Novel at Public Reading
This post announces an upcoming book reading event on Sept. 17, 2015, in Chalfant Borough.

Looking for something to do in Pittsburgh? Want to get in Halloween spirit at little early? Author Wendelin Gray will be reading selections of her new Asian-themed horror novel, The Haunting at Ice Pine Peak, on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at 7:30PM. The event will take place at the Chalfant Community Center, 218 North Avenue, Chalfant, PA 15112. The cover charge is $5. This family-friendly show will also feature a few excerpts from her other novels, The Vulpecula Cycle and The Weary City.
Take a journey into another world where ghosts from a massacre at an abandoned temple begin to haunt an exiled princess and her retinue deep in the mountains; ride a spaceship with an international moon mission disrupted by mischievous Chinese fox spirits who send the crew on an alien adventure; walk with a down-on-her- luck, pregnant trailer park queen whose life takes a strange twist after she’s given a sinister book one night on a dark road. Come enjoy a night of vengeful spirits, magical foxes and hellhounds.
Also performing will be Pittsburgh-based bellydancer Anela with her student troupe, La Belle Sultana. Come see Anela dazzle with her trademark shimmies and sword work.
