
A Forest Hills man is accused of stealing a vehicle.
Borough police have charged Richard Webb, 52, with theft, forgery, two counts of receiving stolen property and two counts of access device fraud.
Webb is accused of taking an Avenue A resident's car and using the man's credit card at the North Versailles Wal-Mart. Police identified Webb on the store's surveillance system.
The following incidents also were reported to the Forest Hills Police Department:
May 25
- Police were called to the Rite Aid on Ardmore Boulevard for suspicious activity. Employees reported that someone was attempting to return items that were suspected to have been stolen.
- A laptop was reported stolen by a woman at the Laurel Garden Apartments on Ardmore Boulevard.
- Officers assisted Wilkins Township Police with a shooting at the intersection of Thompson Run Road and Larimer Avenue. They helped locate bullet casings and provided traffic control.
- Police reported to Marwood Avenue after people reported juveniles digging in their yards.
