Newcomer, Incumbents & Former Councilman Earn Nominations for Swissvale Council

See who won the Democratic nomination during Tuesday's primary.

A newcomer, two incumbents and a former councilman/mayor will appear on the ballot for Swissvale Council in November.

During Tuesday's primary, newcomer Julie Grose, incumbent David Petrarca, former councilman/mayor Martin Busch and incumbent Michele Kotula Stanton received the Democratic nomination with 420, 413, 378 and 363 votes, respectively. No one is running on the Republican ticket.

Incumbents Darrell Bell Sr. and Mike Epitropoulos did not receive enough votes to appear on the general election ballot.
