The Parkway East (I-376) will be closed in both directions for approximately 30 to 60 minutes beginning at 8 p.m. tonight, June 26, between the Penn Hills (Exit 81) and Monroeville (Exit 84-A) interchanges. Crews from Duquesne Light will be replacing an overhead high tension wire.
State police will control traffic.
Motorists can use the following detour:
Eastbound
Exit at the Monroeville Business (Exit 80) interchange
Follow Business Route 22 to the Route 48 intersection
End detour
Westbound
Take business Route 22 (William Penn Highway) west
Follow to the West I-376/22 Pittsburgh on-ramp
Take ramp onto Parkway East
End detour
