Eleven members of Swissvale Fire Department's team got some extra training last weekend.
The firefighters attended the Pennsylvania Training Weekend at the National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg, Md, July 19 to 21.
"The Swissvale firefighters take training and education very seriously and are always striving to improve their knowledge and skills," read a statement sent to Patch. "Congratulations to those who attended and completed their course of study."
