Weekly Community Mindfulness Meditation Class

WEEKLY COMMUNITY MINDFULNESS
MEDITATION with Suzanne Matthiessen Beginning August 15th

Thursdays
7:00 pm – 8:30 pm (ongoing). $10 at the door $7 for students/veterans/ or

Extensive clinical studies have demonstrated that
mindfulness meditation practices offer significant wellness and performance
benefits including: marked and lasting stress reduction; increased ability to
focus and concentrate; freedom from negative self-talk patterns; improved
learning capacity and memory; and enhanced inner balance and equanimity. In a
larger sense, mindfulness practices support living with the inevitable ups and
downs of being human in a fast-paced, stress-filled world by nurturing
resilience, empathy, compassion, patience and quiet inner strength, regardless
of what comes our way. Suzanne
Matthiessen C.Ht. has been teaching, coaching and writing about mind-body
wellness for over two decades. Besides her own classes, she's a senior
instructor for Florida-based eMindful.com, a company that provides mindfulness-centered
courses for corporate employees via an interactive online classroom.

Class
includes guided meditation practices and talks on universal and
secular/inclusive principles of mindfulness. Beginners and experienced
meditators welcome.
