At the same time, visitors and locals can still enjoy Snack Town's historic downtown, Codorus State Park, the farmers' market, and local snack factories, all of which those higher tax bills help support.
   

• Unoccupied car pulled out of Lake Marburg (fox43.com) — A Hanover Area Volunteer Fire & Rescue dive team helped recover an SUV and trailer that accidentally rolled into Lake Marburg at Codorus State Park on Sunday afternoon. Crews confirmed the vehicle was unoccupied, removed it and the trailer from up to 13 feet of water, cleared debris from the lake, and reported no injuries.
   

• High School Scores and Standings from Sept. 14-19 (localnews1.org) — Hanover High teams are scattered across South Central Athletic Conference standings this week, with golf in mid-pack, boys soccer struggling, volleyball near the bottom of its division, and field hockey contending near the top. The roundup also highlights results for nearby schools like Fairfield, New Oxford, and Delone Catholic, giving Hanover fans a snapshot of how local rivals are performing.
