• Philadelphia Folk Festival returns to Old Pool Farm for 63rd year (northpennnow.com) — The Philadelphia Folk Festival is returning this weekend to Old Pool Farm on Salford Station Road in Harleysville, bringing three days of music, camping, crafts, and family activities August 14–16. Residents can catch acts like Leftover Salmon, Sam Bush, Mary Gauthier, and many regional performers across seven stages, plus workshops, kids' programs, and a large crafts and food bazaar. Tickets, camping details, and schedules are available at folkfest.org.
   

• Two Area Firms to Lower Energy Costs with PA Grants (travelswiththepost.com) — Harleysville-based Accupac is getting nearly $150,000 in state grant funding to upgrade its facility with high-efficiency LED lighting, cutting energy costs and emissions. The personal-care manufacturer is one of 15 Pennsylvania firms sharing RISE PA awards. State officials say the projects will save companies hundreds of thousands of dollars while reducing greenhouse gas emissions across industrial sites.
