To be considered for a FootPRINT Fund award, nonprofit groups, associations and charitable organizations must have a main office or branch in Harrisburg. Award recipients are selected by a review panel based on how the services will be used to further the organization’s goals including service expansion, program enhancement and maximization of existing resources, as well as the organization’s innovation and resourcefulness.

Applicants may be awarded services in the value of the amount needed to cover an entire project or in a partial amount, depending on the number of worthy applications received and the value of services requested.
