The Cougars, now 4-0, piled up over 300 passing yards and triggered the mercy rule before halftime. They'll look to keep their streak alive at Altoona next Friday night.

Dauphin County nursing school to launch part-time program (pennlive.com) ā Prospective nurses in Harrisburg now have a new part-time diploma option through UPMC Shadyside School of Nursing at UPMC Harrisburg, with applications open through Oct. 1. The 32āmonth, evening-only program starts in January, includes pre-nursing courses at Harrisburg University, and offers over 900 clinical hours locally. Scholarships, work-study options, and some faculty positions are also available.

Man charged in Harrisburg church burglary now faces charges following incident in Steelton (pennlive.com) ā A Harrisburg man already accused in a costly burglary at Bethel AME Church on North Fifth Street is now charged in a metal theft at Cliffs Steel Mill in Steelton. Police say workers chased him from a fenced power substation area before a K-9 helped make the arrest. He remains in Dauphin County Prison on multiple felony counts while his Harrisburg church case continues.

Pa.'s Treasury vault a 'fun house' safeguarding unclaimed property worth millions (triblive.com) ā Pennsylvania's massive state Treasury vault sits right in downtown Harrisburg, quietly holding millions of dollars' worth of unclaimed valuables from across the state. From military medals to rock memorabilia, staff catalog items and try to reunite them with owners, sometimes auctioning goods and holding proceeds so residents, including those in Harrisburg, can claim what's theirs anytime online.
