• Diocese of Harrisburg renews focus on encouraging priestly vocations (gettysburgconnection.org) — Catholic parish leaders from across the Diocese of Harrisburg met in the city to plan new ways of encouraging young men to consider the priesthood amid looming priest shortages in coming years. The diocese is relaunching its Called by Name program, promoting prayer, fasting, retreats, and parish-based outreach so Harrisburg-area Catholics can actively support vocations in their own communities.
