ā¢ Boyd Big Tree Preserve Expands With 12-Acre Addition (mychesco.com) ā A 12-acre expansion of Boyd Big Tree Preserve in Lower Paxton Township adds a new trailhead and parking area, improving access for Harrisburg-area residents. State and conservation partners say the project protects key wildlife habitat along Kittatinny Ridge while advancing Pennsylvania's outdoor recreation goals and supporting the growing economic impact of trails and parks statewide.

ā¢ Knifeplay Announce New Album 'What Is Truth?': Hear "Love Song" (stereogum.com) ā Philadelphia band Knifeplay is releasing a new album, "What Is Truth?", and will bring their dreamy, dramatic sound to Capital City Music Hall in Harrisburg on October 10. The nearly 80-minute record arrives in January, but locals can hear the 10-minute lead single "Love Song" now and catch the group live alongside Hase and Full Body 2's DJ set.
