Coroner Called After Fatal Harrisburg House Fire Reportedly Started By Space Heater (dailyvoice.com) β A deadly house fire early Saturday morning on the 2900 block of Green Street in Harrisburg left at least one person dead and brought a response from city firefighters, police, and the Dauphin County Coroner. Investigators are still confirming the cause, after an initial 911 caller reported a bedroom space heater and a woman trapped inside, and authorities have not yet released the victim's identity.

Homicide Suspect Leads PSP On Multi-County Chase, Ends With PIT Maneuver In Harrisburg (dailyvoice.com) β A homicide suspect from a Lancaster County investigation was arrested after a Pennsylvania State Police chase up I-81 ended with a PIT maneuver near Arsenal Boulevard and Herr Street in Susquehanna Township, just outside Harrisburg. Local police say there's no ongoing threat, but investigators are still piecing together where the pursuit began and exactly which homicide case it involves.

Pa. credit union to offer Google Gemini-based bot to members (americanbanker.com) β Harrisburg-based credit union PSECU is preparing to add a Google Gemini-powered assistant to its online and mobile banking, giving members personalized spending summaries and guidance on saving or paying down debt. Leaders say the tool will roll out slowly, first to employees and test groups, with opt-outs available for members who prefer not to have their accounts analyzed this way.
