Harrisburg City Council is looking for local Unsung Heroes.
From the City of Harrisburg: Harrisburg City Council is looking for local Unsung Heroes. Our city is filled with people who work tirelessly behind the scenes to make a difference. We would like to recognize these special citizens. Do you know someone who takes the time to help neighbors, coaches, organizes fundraisers, volunteers at our local hospitals, schools, or churches? We are looking for those special people who go above and beyond without the thought of reward or recognition. The qualifications are that the person:
- Is a non-paid volunteer
- Performs the efforts within the City of Harrisburg
The deadline for submission of nominations is Friday, Nov. 15. Please complete the online application or drop off applications to the City Clerk’s Office:
