2 Dead After Car Crashes Into Delco Home, Starts Fire: Reports

A car crashed into a home in Chester early Friday morning, starting a fire and killing at least two people.

CHESTER, PA — Two people are dead after a car crashed into a Delaware County home, starting a fire, early Friday morning, according to reports.

The incident occurred at about 2 a.m. on the 200 block of West Second Street in Chester, NBC10 reports.

According to Fox 29, the driver and another person in the car died as a result of the crash. No one in the home was hurt and the fire was extinguished quickly.

Family members told Action News the driver, a father of three, and the passenger were coming home from a comedy showat the time of the crash.

Authorities are investigating the crash.
