2 More Die From Coronavirus In Delco, 390 Cases Identified

Delaware County now has eight coronavirus-related deaths, as two more deaths in Marple Township were announced Wednesday.

DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — Two more Delaware County residents died from the new coronavirus, according the county's COVID-19 website.

Data on the site shows there are now eight deaths and 390 cases in the county as of noon Wednesday.

The two deaths were in Marple Township, which has 22 of the county's nearly 400 cases.

According to the county, the victims were an 87-year-old woman and a 69-year-old man.

The six other victims are:

  • A 56-year-old man from Yeadon Borough;
  • a 70-year-old woman from Ridley Township;
  • a 63-year-pld man from Middletown Township died from the coronavirus;
  • an 85- year- old male from Ridley Park;
  • an 86-year-old woman from Marple Township;
  • and a 65-year-old man from Springfield Township.

As of Wednesday, the county has received 2,424 negative test results.
