2 Pregnant Women Injured In I-95 Crash In Delaware County

I-95 has been reduced to one lane following the accident.

DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — Two pregnant women were hospitalized after a four-vehicle crash on I-95 in Delaware County Thursday morning, Pennsylvania state police said.

The incident occurred at around 6:25 a.m. on I-95 northbound near mile marker 4.3, in Chester.

A vehicle hauler carrying three passenger vehicles was "operating too fast for traffic conditions," according to state police.

As a traffic back log slowed, it was unable to stop and crashed into several vehicles.

The crash restricted I-95 northbound to one lane in the area.

The injuries to both women are considered "minor to moderate," state police said. They are being evaluated at the hospital.
