5th Coronavirus Victim Dies In Delaware County; 42 New Cases
There are now 232 cases of coronavirus around Delaware County.
DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — Delaware County recorded its fifth death from coronavirus on Saturday, health officials confirmed, as 42 new positive cases were found around the county.
The victim was a 65-year-old man from Springfield Township.

The local resident was among 12 deaths announced across the state Saturday, bringing the total to 34. There are 2,751 positives in Pennsylvania overall.
Delaware County's total number of positive cases was brought to 232 as of Saturday afternoon.

A total of 1,751 tests have come back negative, officials said.
The positives are thus far concentrated in the northern parts of the county, with Upper Darby (30), Haverford (25), Radnor (23) Newtown (15), and Marple (13) accounting for a bulk of the cases.
