6 Delco Grocery Stores That Could Soon Sell Wine Under New PA Law
Under a new state law, these Delaware County grocery stores could soon sell wine.

On Wednesday, Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf took what he called a "historic" step toward changing the liquor system in the state when he signed new legislation permitting grocery store wine sales.
Soon, Delaware County residents will be able to reap the benefits.
The bill, which will be in effect in 60 days, will do several things, including removing weekend and holiday restrictions and allowing grocery stores, restaurants, and hotels to sell wine.

“This law transformatively changes the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board's responsibilities such that we can now move away from decades-old prohibitionist restrictions on alcohol sales and pursue meaningful improvements to access and convenience for Pennsylvania consumers," Board Member Mike Negra said in a press release.
However, not all stores will be able to sell wine, the PCLB said.
