8 Vacant Haverford Board, Commissions Seats Need To Be Filled

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA – Four Haverford Township boards and commissions have vacant seats that need to be filled and the Board of Commissioners of the Township of Haverford is seeking interested residents to serve on the various entities.

The Health Advisory Board, Ice Rink Advisory Board, Shade Tree Commission, and Parks and Recreation board each have two vacant positions that need to be filled, according to the township.

When applying for the position, applicants must include the following with their applications:

• applicant’s name, address, phone number and email address;
• a cover letter or cover email listing each Board, Committee or Commission on which the applicant seeks an appointment or reappointment;
• a concise statement (no more than one typed page) summarizing why the applicant seeks the appointment or reappointment;
• and a resume or other summary of the applicant’s experience.

Applicants will be interviewed by the township at a later date.
