Alternating Lane Closues To Affect Overnight Traffic On I-476 In Delco

DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — Interstate 476 in Delaware County will have lane closures nightly this week due to guiderail repair work, according to PennDOT.

PennDOT said from Monday through Friday, alternating lane closures in both directions will be in place overnight from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.

The affected stretch of highway is between the Interstate 76 and the Swarthmore/Media interchanges in Lower Merion, Radnor, Haverford, Marple, Springfield, and Nether Providence townships.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur.

All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
