"The keys were probably left inside," said Police Chief John F. Viola.

GPS showed the vehicle in Plymouth Meeting, where local police searched but couldn't find it. The next day, the Cadillac was detected in New Jersey.

New Jersey State Police advised it may be part of a "large-scale" criminal network they're investigating, Viola said.

The investigation remains ongoing.
