HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — With the primaries over, the candidate fields have been set for November's general elections.
Haverford Township residents will be among millions of Pennsylvanians deciding on a governor and State House representatives this fall. Meanwhile, midterm elections across the nation will shape the U.S. House of Representatives.
General Election Day is Nov. 3.
Here are the general-election fields in November:

GOVERNOR, LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR
Of note: Richey defeated John Ventre in the Republican primary for lieutenant governor. Both governor races, and the Democratic primary for lieutenant governor, were uncontested.
U.S. HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES: PENNSYLVANIA'S 5TH CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT
Of note: The district's electorate became more liberal in 2018, when the Pennsylvania Supreme Court redrew congressional district boundaries in a gerrymandering ruling. That year, Scanlon became PA-5's first elected Democrat since the Nixon administration.
Republicans have held majorities in the House and Senate throughout President Donald Trump's second term.
PENNSYLVANIA HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES, 166TH DISTRICT
Of note: This district will have its first new face since 1993 after Trombetta — president of Haverford's Board of Commissioners — defeated longtime State Rep. Greg Vitali in the Democratic primary.
Trombetta will face Republican Joe Walker, an insurance broker.
The Democratic Party holds the majority in the State House of Representatives, while the GOP controls the State Senate.
