Football: Two-point stop steers Academy Park past Haverford (delcotimes.com) — Haverford High's football team fell just short in an overtime thriller at Academy Park, losing 21-20 after a stopped two-point try and a deflected extra point. Workhorse back Henry Yez powered Haverford's offense with 160 rushing yards on 33 carries, but several key defensive stands by Academy Park kept the Fords from securing a road win.
