Democratic incumbent Mary Gay Scanlon has been re-elected to the U.S. House of Representatives, according to the Associated Press.
The AP called the race for Pennsylvania's 5th congressional district about 45 minutes after polls closed, when Scanlon held 85 percent of the vote against Republican Nick Manganaro. About 20 percent of votes were counted at that time.
The 5th district includes Delaware County, southwestern Philadelphia and slivers of Montgomery and Chester counties.
Scanlon, a Democrat, has represented the region in Congress since 2018.
Republicans have held a "trifecta" throughout President Donald Trump's second term, with the GOP holding majorities in the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives.
All House seats and 35 Senate seats are up for election.
The 5th district election tally is available below. Election results are unofficial until certified on a later date.
