HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Haverford Township issued their weekly crime blotter Wednesday.
Incidents in the blotter occurred between June 14 and June 20.
The blotter also features arrests made and citations issued.

- Identity Theft at the 2400 block of Merwood Lane on June 14 at 2:48 p.m. – Victim received an email from someone claiming to be from PayPal. They directed her to make several deposits into a Robinhood account. She became aware of the scam after she deposited $20,000 into the account.
- Identity Theft at the 400 block of Glendale Road on June 14 at 8:02 p.m. – They victim accepted a job from Zen Desk. The requested her personal and banking information through email. She was told the company was going to send her a computer to work from home. She never received the computer and began to notice many fraudulent charges on all her accounts.
- Vandalism at the 600 block of Hazelwood Road on June 14 at 7:48 a.m. – Vehicle window as shattered.
- Retail Theft at Acme, 1300 block of West Chester Pike, on June 15 at 9:24 p.m. – Three unknown actors stole an unknown amount of groceries.
- Retail Theft at Acme, 1300 block of West Chester Pike, on June 15 at 9:45 p.m. – An unknown male attempted to steal $460.19 worth of merchandise. An employee confronted the subject and was able to recover the merchandise.
- Retail Theft at Rite Aid, 1300 block of West Chester Pike, on June 16 at 3:54 p.m. – An unknown male stole a Frappuccino and candy.
- Motor Vehicle Theft at the unit block of W. Langhorne Avenue on June 16 at 10:41 a.m.
- Fraud at the 100 block of Fawn Lane on June 16 at 1:38 p.m. – The victim was notified by the fraud department from his bank. They advised him that someone presented a forged copy of his drivers license and withdrew $7,000 from his account.
- Retail Theft at Acme, 600 block of Lancaster Avenue, on June 18 at 4:10 p.m. – An unknown female attempted to pay for $22.35 worth of groceries at self-check out but the pin was incorrect. The woman ignored the employee and fled the store.
- Assault at Chatham Park, 400 block of Allston Road, on June 19 at 9:13 p.m. – A juvenile male was assaulted by a group of juveniles. Investigation is ongoing.
- Theft at the 2200 block of Haverford Road on June 19 at 5:33 p.m. – A firearm was stolen from the trunk of a vehicle.
- Motor Vehicle Theft at The YMCA, 800 block of N. Eagle Road, on June 19 at 6:42 p.m.
- Retail Theft at Acme, 1300 block of West Chester Pike, on June 20 at 2:17 p.m. – An unknown male stole $28 worth of alcohol.
- Identity Theft at the 500 block of Ellis Road on June 20 at 7:35 p.m. – Someone attempted to open a credit card account using the victim’s identity.
ARRESTS
- 33-year-old male, 3600 block of 21st Street, Philadelphia. Charges: Retail theft and receiving stolen property. Location: Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike. Date: June 14 at 7:30 a.m.
- 41-year-old female, 1300 block of Berks Street, Philadelphia. Charges: Possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Location: Lowe’s, 100 block of W. Township Line Road. Date: June 18 at 11:49 p.m.
- 40-year-old male, Homeless. Charges: Burglary, criminal trespass, simple assault, harassment, recklessly endangering another person, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Location: 100 block of Wyndmoor Road. Date: June 17 at 7:09 a.m.
