August Havertown Health Inspections: Manhattan Bagel, Brick And Brew​

The Haverford Township Health Department inspected a few area establishments in August. Here's what they found.

HAVERTOWN, PA – The Haverford Township Health Department intersected several eateries in the township in August. The inspections found in two businesses were in violation of various health codes, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture.

Brick and Brew at 2138 Darby Road in Havertown was inspected Aug. 9 and was hit with four violations. Those were a missing filter for the hood exhaust system; improperly cleaned meat slicer; hand washing station not clear for use; and "fly problems" in the basement.

Manhattan Bagel at 1305 West Chester Pike in Havertown had two violations. Those were unclean non-food contact surfaces and insect activity in the dry storage area.
