Man Charged With Murder Of Missing Haverford Woman

Murder, abuse of a corpse, and other charges have been filed against a man after Sabrina Dubose's body was found in Philadelphia Tuesday.

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — The body of a missing Delaware County woman body was found in Philadelphia Tuesday and authorities have arrested and charged a man with her murder.

Authorities said the body of missing 25-year-old Sabrina Dubose was found in a trash bag on the 5700 block of Musgrave Street in Philadelphia around 6 p.m. Tuesday. She was last seen leaving her home in the Ardmore section of Haverford Township Friday, May 22.

The Delaware County District Attorney's Office said police arrested Kareem Davis-Duppins, 26, of Philadelphia, Tuesday in connection with her death. Davis-Duppins was charged Wednesday with criminal homicide, first- and third-degree murder, abuse of a corpse, and related crimes.

Authorities said he confessed to killing Dubose after being taken into custody Tuesday.

The DA's office said he killed Dubose in Upper Darby, but the exact location of her death is uncertain at this time.

Davis-Duppins moved her body several times before leaving her body in Philadelphia, authorities said.

Police said she was believed to be heading to the Septa terminal at 69th street in Upper Darby to get to Philadelphia on the train.

The DA's office said the two met on the train May 22.

"They had an interaction from there, a social interaction, that turned deadly," District Attorney Jack Stollsteimer said in a news conference Wednesday.

He was denied bail and is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing on Aug. 3
