Missing Delco Woman Found Dead Was Shot, Officials Say

Authorities have released more information into the case of the missing Delaware Co. woman who was found dead after being reported missing.

UPPER DARBY, PA — Authorities have released more information into the case of the missing Delaware County woman who was found dead after being reported missing last week.

Dianna Brice, of Lansdowne, was found dead Monday night in Southwest Philadelphia after being reported missing in Upper Darby. The Philadelphia Medical Examiner's Office said Brice's cause of death is listed as multiple gunshot wounds and the manner of death is listed as homicide.

Brice, who was 14 weeks pregnant and had a 4-year-old child, was last seen leaving K Laundry in Lansdowne with her boyfriend, 23-year-old Justin Smith, at about 1 p.m. March 30, according to Upper Darby Police.

Her boyfriend a person of interest in her death, according to reports. Smith, who has not been seen since then, is now considered a person of interest in the case, Fox29 reports. NBC News reports Brice and Smith got into an argument that day.

Smith's vehicle was found later on March 30 burning at 59th and Florence streets in Philadelphia.

Brice's body was found near 58th Street and Lindbergh Boulevard, not far from where Smith's vehicle was located.

"Words don't express how sad it is for a young woman who leaves behind a 4-year-old child and was three to four months pregnant with her second," Upper Darby Township Police Superintendent Timothy Bernhardt said at a news conference Tuesday. "Words don't explain how sad it is for her family."
